Who are we and whom do we serve?
Sunrise Speech and Language meets the needs of those in the greater Sandpoint area who want to improve their child's communication. We offer assessment and therapeutic intervention in the areas of: articulation, receptive and expressive language, social use of language, stuttering, voice. We also work closely with children/young adults who are autistic and children with health or genetic conditions that impact clear communication (e.g. conditions such as Down Syndrome, Rhett Syndrome, VCFS, FASD, developmental delay etc.).

Meet the Therapist
Hope Keenan was born and raised in Sandpoint. She obtained her bachelor's degree in Spanish from the University of Idaho (suma cum laude) and was honored with induction into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. She then completed a post baccalaureate certificate at Idaho State University in Communication Sciences. Her Master of Communication Sciences and Disorders degree is from Utah State University in Logan, Utah. She has held her Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA for 7 years and her Idaho State SLP License for 8. Outside of work, Hope enjoys raising two firecracker young girls with her spouse, Jeff, being on the pottery wheel, and reading literature of all sorts. She has two cats, 9 chicks, and a black thumb at gardening.
We offer a select number of in-home sessions in addition to our regular in-office sessions at 31656 Hwy 200 E, Suite 210, Sandpoint Idaho
