Our mission is to identify and address barriers to clear communication. As such, our session rates and our evaluation rates are listed below. We accept many forms of payment, such as:
Health Savings Account funds/cards
Private pay in the forms of card, check, and cash
Empowering Parents grants
We also are signed up through Tricare so that those on this insurance can submit superbills for their speech visits (other insurance types are typically able to submit superbills from Sunrise without this step). While we do not bill/accept insurance, we are happy to provide you with a superbill which you can submit to your insurance if desired (see link below for information on a superbill).
Package of 8 Speech Therapy Sessions | 115/session, 920 total
Package of 4 Speech Therapy Sessions | 125/session, 500 total
Individual Speech Therapy Session | 135
Assessment Range| 250-350
*An assessment is completed prior to starting therapy sessions. This includes direct testing using standardized, norm-referenced assessments and a written report provided you detailed specifics of your child's communication profile/areas of need. Cost is based upon the kinds of needs being assessed. I am happy to help you figure out what kind of communication assessment your child needs.
But I have insurance! Can I use it at Sunrise to pay for speech services?
Sunrise is considered an out-of-network provider, meaning we do not contract with individual insurances. This is for a variety of reasons, the foremost being the fundamental principle that we prioritize providing attuned, top-quality speech therapy over having our reimbursement rates and resultant productivity prescribed by insurance companies. It is well worth a call to your insurance to see how your plan might handle a superbill for speech-language assessment/therapy from an out-of-network provider; we're happy to chat about any specific speech information (codes, potential diagnoses) you might need for this purpose.
Let me offer you this perspective:
When your child has a health need, such as orthodontics, you know it's going to be a financial investment. The good thing? It's for a finite amount of time, and the payoff isn't just your child being consistently understood by others, or even the mending of a speaking pattern that calls attention to itself, it's how they feel about themselves and their willingness to speak to others freely, uninhibited by cautiousness of a "difference" in how they speak. It's how comfortable and confident they feel in speaking aloud their thoughts, feelings, and ideas not just to you, but to a new schoolmate or someone they just met at the park. Kids deserve to have the focus be on the content of what they're saying- not how it's being said. That's exactly what we help with.
In person or virtual Autistic advocacy | $30 per 20 minute session
Autistic advocacy can look many ways, such as support and information in the areas of: sensory needs of the body, environmental review for maximizing spoons (energy units), body doubling, assistance with initiation and follow through, struggle with completing hygiene routines/care, executive functioning difficulty, co-regulation, sound balancing (tuning forks used).
